Welcome to Life-Changing Wisdom Marketplace, LLC. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, marketplace platform, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.

1. About Our Marketplace

Life-Changing Wisdom operates a curated digital marketplace connecting readers with vetted authors and vendors who offer transformation memoirs, digital content, physical books, and merchandise. We facilitate transactions between buyers and sellers. Vendors are approved through an application process to maintain quality and trust.

Products are fulfilled through digital delivery for ebooks and digital content, print-on-demand production for physical books via Lulu Direct, and print-on-demand production for merchandise via Printful.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Creation and Security

To purchase products or access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account, notify us immediately at team@lifechangingwisdom.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful conduct.

4. Purchases and Payments

Product descriptions, prices, and availability are provided by vendors. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all product information is error-free.

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD). You agree to pay the listed price plus applicable taxes and shipping fees.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service.

Your order is an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, including product availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. If we cancel an order after payment, we will issue a full refund.

5. Digital Products

When you purchase a digital product such as an ebook, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your personal use. You may not redistribute, resell, or share digital products, remove copyright notices, use them for commercial purposes without permission, or create derivative works.

Digital products are non-refundable once downloaded or accessed. See our Refund and Return Policy for exceptions.

6. Physical Products (Print-on-Demand)

Physical books and merchandise are produced on-demand by third-party fulfillment partners after you place your order. Production typically takes 3-7 business days. Shipping times vary by location.

Because each product is custom-printed when ordered, we do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse, incorrect size selection, or change of mind. If your product arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective, we will provide a replacement or refund. See our Refund and Return Policy for details.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by the fulfillment partner, shipping carrier, or customs.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to use our Services to violate any law, infringe on intellectual property rights, transmit harmful code, harass other users, engage in fraud, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or scrape content from our platform.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend users who violate these rules.

8. Intellectual Property

Platform content (excluding vendor-generated content) is owned by Life-Changing Wisdom Marketplace, LLC or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Vendors retain ownership of their content. See the Vendor Agreement for details on the license vendors grant to us.

9. Data Sharing with Vendors

By making a purchase, you also consent to receiving communications from Life-Changing Wisdom Marketplace, LLC. You can opt out of marketing emails from vendors or the marketplace at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

10. Disclaimers

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant that Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, that product listings are accurate, that products will meet your expectations, or that defects will be corrected.

We do not control or endorse vendor-created content. We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or quality of products listed on our platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Life-Changing Wisdom Marketplace, LLC from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, any law, any third-party rights, or your use of our Services.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Disputes will be resolved in Connecticut state or federal courts.

14. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date and notified by email where appropriate. Your continued use constitutes acceptance.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement.
