Refund and Return Policy

Life-Changing Wisdom Marketplace, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) wants you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund & Return Policy explains our policies for digital products, physical products, merchandise, and coaching programs.

By making a purchase, you agree to this policy. If you have questions, contact us at team@lifechangingwisdom.com.

1. Digital Products (Ebooks and Digital Content)

1.1 Refund Window

Digital products are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not downloaded or accessed the content.

1.2 No Refunds After Access

Once you have downloaded or accessed a digital product (e.g., opened an ebook, viewed a PDF, streamed a video), it is considered delivered and is non-refundable. This policy prevents abuse while protecting authors’ intellectual property.

1.3 Exceptions

We may issue refunds after access in the following cases:

  • Technical Issues: If the file is corrupted, unreadable, or cannot be downloaded despite our technical support
  • Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly or charged multiple times for the same purchase
  • Fraudulent Purchases: If you did not authorize the purchase

1.4 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for a digital product, contact us within 7 days at team@lifechangingwisdom.com with:

  • Your order number
  • The product name
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Confirmation that you have not accessed the content

Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

2. Physical Products (Print-on-Demand Books)

2.1 Return Window

Physical books may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date for a full refund.

2.2 Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, books must be:

  • In original, sellable condition (no markings, damage, or excessive wear)
  • Returned in original packaging (if possible)

2.3 Who Pays Shipping?

  • Buyer’s Remorse: If you simply changed your mind, you are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Defective Products: If the book arrived damaged, misprinted, or is the wrong item, we will cover return shipping costs

2.4 Manufacturing Defects

We stand behind the quality of our print-on-demand books. If you receive a defective product, we will:

  • Issue a full refund, OR
  • Send a replacement at no cost (your choice)

Defects include: damaged or torn pages, misprinted or missing pages, incorrect binding, wrong book delivered.

2.5 How to Return a Physical Book

Step 1: Contact us within 30 days at team@lifechangingwisdom.com with your order number, product name, reason for return, and photos (if claiming a defect).

Step 2: We will provide a return address and instructions. For defective products, we will email you a prepaid return label.

Step 3: Ship the book back using a trackable shipping method.

Step 4: Once we receive and inspect the book (typically 5–7 business days), we will process your refund within 5–7 business days.

2.6 Shipping Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or circumstances beyond our control. Contact us if your book has not arrived within the expected delivery window.

3. Merchandise (Print-on-Demand Apparel, Accessories, Etc.)

3.1 Return Window

Merchandise may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date for defects only.

3.2 No Returns for Buyer’s Remorse

Because merchandise is custom-made on-demand, we do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse, incorrect size selection, or style preference. Please review product details, sizing charts, and images carefully before purchasing.

3.3 Defective or Incorrect Products

We will accept returns and issue refunds or replacements for:

  • Manufacturing defects (misprints, damaged items, incorrect colors)
  • Wrong item delivered
  • Significantly different from the product description

3.4 Who Pays Shipping?

  • Defective Products: We cover return shipping costs
  • Buyer Error: If you ordered the wrong size or style, returns are not accepted

3.5 How to Return Merchandise

Step 1: Contact us within 30 days at team@lifechangingwisdom.com with your order number, product name, reason for return, and photos showing the defect.

Step 2: We will review your claim and provide return instructions if approved. For defective products, we will email a prepaid return label.

Step 3: Ship the item back in original condition with tags attached (if applicable).

Step 4: Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund or replacement within 5–7 business days.

4. Coaching Programs and Community Memberships

4.1 Refund Window

Digital coaching programs and community memberships are eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase, subject to the conditions below.

4.2 Participation Requirement

To qualify for a refund, you must:

  • Attend at least one session or access the program materials, AND
  • Demonstrate that you attempted to engage with the content or coaching, AND
  • Contact us within 14 days explaining why the program did not meet your expectations

4.3 No Refunds After 14 Days

After 14 days, all coaching programs and memberships are non-refundable, regardless of usage or participation.

4.4 Subscription-Based Programs

For monthly or recurring community memberships:

  • You may cancel at any time to stop future charges
  • No refunds are provided for the current billing period
  • You will retain access until the end of the current billing period

4.5 External/Partner Programs

Some coaching programs are delivered by third-party partners on external platforms. For these programs:

  • The partner’s refund policy applies (not ours)
  • We will clearly disclose this at the time of purchase
  • Contact the partner directly for refund requests

4.6 How to Request a Refund

Contact us within 14 days at team@lifechangingwisdom.com with your order number, program name, reason for refund, and summary of your participation. Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Digital products that have been downloaded or accessed
  • Gift cards or promotional credits
  • Custom or personalized merchandise (unless defective)
  • Services already rendered
  • Products purchased at a discount or during a promotional sale (unless defective)

6. Order Cancellations

6.1 Before Fulfillment

You may cancel your order for a full refund if the order has not yet been processed for production (typically within 24 hours of purchase) and the digital product has not been downloaded or accessed. Contact us immediately at team@lifechangingwisdom.com with your order number.

6.2 After Fulfillment Begins

Once your order has been sent to our fulfillment partner for production, it cannot be cancelled. You must follow the return process if you no longer want the item.

6.3 Digital Products

Digital product orders cannot be cancelled once the download link has been sent or access has been granted.

7. Refund Processing

7.1 Method

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method (credit card, debit card, PayPal, etc.).

7.2 Timeframe

  • Approval: We will review refund requests within 2–3 business days
  • Processing: Once approved, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days
  • Posting: Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account

7.3 Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may issue a partial refund (e.g., if a book is returned in less-than-perfect condition, or if we offer a discount as a resolution for a minor issue).

8. Exchanges

8.1 Defective Products

For defective physical products or merchandise, you may choose a full refund OR a replacement item at no additional cost.

8.2 No Exchanges for Size or Style

We do not offer exchanges for incorrect size, color, or style preferences on custom merchandise. Please review product details carefully before ordering.

9. Lost or Damaged Shipments

9.1 Lost Packages

If your order shows as delivered but you did not receive it, contact us within 7 days at team@lifechangingwisdom.com with your order number and tracking information. We will investigate and issue a replacement or refund if the package cannot be located.

9.2 Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days with photos of the damaged packaging and product. We will issue a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

10. Fraudulent Orders

We reserve the right to refuse refunds for orders we determine to be fraudulent or abusive, including repeated refund requests, abuse of our refund policy after accessing digital content, and chargeback abuse. We may suspend accounts and report activity to the appropriate authorities.
