Life-Changing Wisdom Marketplace | Effective date: June 18, 2026 | Last updated: June 18, 2026
Life-Changing Wisdom Marketplace LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company with its principal place of business at 1019 Main St, Unit #1033, Bridgeport, CT 06604 (“Life-Changing Wisdom,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our website, marketplace platform, and services (the “Services”).
By using our Services, you consent to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties.
You provide:
- Account information: name, email address, password, mailing address, phone number (optional).
- Purchase information: billing address, shipping address, and payment information (processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers).
- Profile information: preferences, interests, communication settings.
- Communications: messages you send us by email or contact form.
- Vendor information: if you sell on the marketplace, we collect tax identification, payout bank details, and product content.
Collected automatically:
- Usage data: pages visited, time on page, links clicked, referral source.
- Device information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers.
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8).
From third parties:
- Stripe provides transaction confirmation and fraud-prevention data.
- Lulu and Printful provide order status and shipping information.
- Analytics providers give us website traffic and behavior data.
2. How we use your information
- Provide and improve the Services: process orders, manage your account, support you, and develop the platform.
- Communicate with you: order confirmations, shipping notices, support replies, administrative messages, and marketing about new products and features that you can opt out of.
- Analyze how the Services are used and measure what works.
- Meet legal and security obligations: tax reporting, fraud prevention, and enforcing our Terms.
3. How we share your information
Vendor access to your order information. This marketplace is built so authors and vendors can build a direct relationship with the people who buy their work. When you buy a product, the vendor of that product receives the information needed to fulfill and service your order, including your name, email, and order details.
That access comes with protections for you. A vendor may contact you about your order at any time. A vendor may add you to a marketing or newsletter list only with your opt-in consent; a purchase by itself is not permission to market to you. Vendors agree, in our Vendor Agreement, not to sell, rent, or transfer your information to any third party, to include a working unsubscribe in every marketing message, and to follow applicable email and privacy laws. You can opt out of a vendor’s marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in their messages.
Service providers. We share information with trusted providers who help us operate:
- Payment processing: Stripe.
- Fulfillment: Lulu (books) and Printful (merchandise).
- Email delivery: SendGrid.
- Analytics: Google Analytics.
- Hosting: Cloudways.
These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.
Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or where necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, prevent fraud, or respond to emergencies.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your information may transfer to the successor entity. We will notify you by email or a notice on our website.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell your data, and we do not allow vendors to sell or resell the customer information they receive through the marketplace.
4. Your rights and choices
- Access and correction. Update your account information anytime by logging in or contacting us at team@lifechangingwisdom.com.
- Deletion. Request deletion by contacting us. We will delete your data within 30 days, except where we must keep it for legal or business purposes such as tax records.
- Opt out of marketing. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or contact us. You cannot opt out of transactional emails such as order confirmations.
- Do Not Track. Our Services do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
5. Data retention
We keep your information as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
- Account information: while your account is active, plus 7 years after closure for legal compliance.
- Purchase information: 7 years for tax and accounting.
- Marketing data: until you opt out or request deletion.
6. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/SSL), secure PCI-compliant payment processing, access controls, and authentication. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. International data transfers
We operate from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information is transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from your country’s. By using the Services, you consent to this transfer.
8. Cookies and tracking technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help us recognize you, remember preferences, and improve the Services.
We use essential cookies (basic functionality like cart and login), analytics cookies (understanding usage, such as Google Analytics), and marketing cookies (measuring campaign effectiveness). You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect some features.
9. Children’s privacy
The Services are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have, contact us at team@lifechangingwisdom.com.
10. California privacy rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal data we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion; to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell it); and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. To exercise these, contact us at team@lifechangingwisdom.com. We respond within 45 days.
11. European privacy rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. To exercise these, contact us at team@lifechangingwisdom.com. We respond within 30 days.
We process your data based on contract performance (to provide the Services), legitimate interests (to improve and secure them), consent (for marketing), and legal obligations (tax and fraud prevention).
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy with a new effective date and, if you have an account, email you. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
