Unlike Amazon, we empower authors to own their customer data, build lasting reader connections, and receive automated royalties without losing control of their audience.
We currently offer print-on-demand books, eBooks, digital courses, and author merchandise. Affiliate products and third-party listings may also be included in the future.
Books are available in hardcover, paperback, and eBook formats. Readers can choose the format that best suits their needs.
Through Lulu Direct, we provide global print-on-demand fulfillment, ensuring your order is printed and shipped as close to your location as possible.
Author & Publishing FAQs
Authors can register for a Vendor (Author) account, complete store setup, connect their Stripe account for payouts, and submit books for review.
After registration, authors can upload their manuscript and cover files, select book format (hardcover, paperback, or eBook), and submit for approval. We then map it to Lulu Direct for POD printing and fulfillment.
Royalties are automatically calculated and distributed via Stripe Connect at checkout. Authors don’t need to manually invoice or wait for batch payments.
Yes. In addition to books, authors can sell digital downloads, online courses (via LMS), and merchandise through integrations with Printful/Printify.
Yes. Unlike closed marketplaces, we share buyer data (per privacy policy) so authors can engage their readers, build communities, and grow their audience.
