Life-Changing Wisdom Marketplace, LLC (“LCWM”) respects the rights of creators. Books and products on this marketplace are published by independent authors and vendors. If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, this page explains how to tell us and what happens next.

1. How to send a copyright notice

Send a written notice to our designated agent:

Under Section 512(c)(3) of the DMCA, your notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. The copyrighted work you believe was infringed.
  3. The material you want removed, with enough detail for us to find it (a link to the product or page works).
  4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.

2. What we do when a valid notice arrives

We remove or disable access to the identified material, notify the vendor or author who posted it, and record the notice. We aim to act within 2 business days of receiving a complete notice.

3. Counter-notices

If your material was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same agent. It must include: your signature; the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake; your name, address, and phone number; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the United States, for the District of Connecticut). If the original complainant does not file a court action within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the material.

4. Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts of vendors and authors who repeatedly infringe copyrights.

5. Misrepresentation

Under Section 512(f), a person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Send notices in good faith.
